MCA Suite January 2014 enhancements

The MCA Suite team wants to wish our current and prospective clients a great start to 2014! While most of you were on holiday, the MCA Suite team was busy implementing enhancements to our merchant cash advance platform. We are pleased to announce the following enhancements that were released this week:

1.  Deal Summary Dashboard — As a part of our plan to implement dashboards for executives, we are pleased to release the first of many interactive graphs to show our clients’ operational performance. With the Deal Summary Dashboard, clients can view a deal’s expected repayment rate against actual repayment rate. There are also multiple options to set date ranges to visually view a deal’s performance. In order for the dashboard to show, the deal must have an Estimated Turn Days (number of days the funder expects the merchant to repay the advance) and Daily Expected Amount (the dollar amount the funder expects to collect from the merchant) and two daily remittances.

2.  ACHWorks integration enhancement: Re-enable stopped payments — Our clients using MCA Suite’s ACHWorks payment gateway to process transactions and track deals, can quickly re-initiate an ACH debit on a merchant’s account that was previously stopped. MCA Suite is working closely with ACHWorks to build deeper integration into its product offering and help our funder clients improve deal tracking capabilities.

3.  Set default permissions for contacts and deals — Clients can now set default permission settings for all their contact (person/company) and deal records. Prior to this enhancement, all contact and deal permissions settings defaulted to “Everyone” (the most inclusive setting). But some of our clients preferred for their contacts and deals to have restricted access automatically upon creation (restricted to admins and the user who created the record, only). In response, we implemented “Default Permissions” as a customizable account setting. This enhancement allows our clients to set default permissions without involving our team to perform programming changes.

Our team is in the midst of completing a major redesign of MCA Suite. We have reached out to our current clients to obtain their feedback and suggestions. If you are a current customer and have not provided feedback, please reach out to us at your earliest convenience. The redesigned user interface is scheduled to launch in February 2014.
