MCA Suite implements IP address restriction and other security enhancements

MCA Suite administrators can now define which public IP addresses and system users can be allowed access to their MCA Suite instance. Simply enter an external IP address to enable the IP address restriction feature. Once the restriction feature is enabled, only IP addresses added by the administrator (on the “allow list”) will be able to login to MCA Suite.

Administrators can also allow system users so they can login from IP addresses not on the allow list. Administrators using the IP restriction feature may want to add merchant, investor and broker users to the allow list as they are most likely logging into MCA suite from an IP address not on the allow list. MCA Suite administrators can always login to their MCA Suite instance regardless of where they are located.

MCA Suite Whitelist IP Addresses and Users

As mentioned in previous blog posts, the MCA Suite team has implemented the following security features to improve user and record tracking:

1.  Track all user logins – Administrators will be able to view when each user has logged into MCA Suite. The “user login log” records each time a user logs into MCA Suite. User login logs are kept for 90 days before they are purged.

2.  Changes made to records (i.e. contacts and deal pages) are logged for reference. Activity that will be recorded can include (but is not limited to) new information entered or edited on a page, attachments uploaded, attachments deleted, checklist items marked off, submissions sent or edited, etc. If a page is being tracked, users will see a link to “View Activity History,” which will bring up a pop-up box similar to the one below:

Our team will continue to make improvements to the MCA Suite platform. Please continue to send us your feedback and suggestions.
